Reno Celtic Celebration
With Dick Johnson on mandolin at our Reno Celtic Celebration, we're thanking our audience and taking a bow after performing on the Ampitheater Stage at Reno Celtic Celebration.
Brewery Arts Celtic Festival
We had an enthusiastic audience at the Brewery Arts Celtic Festival in Carson City, NV. That's Penny Fairfield on penny whistle, Rex Reed on mandolin, Tom Aufrance guitar and vocals, Mary Kay Aufrance accordion and vocals, and Gerald Heston vocals. And, yes! Gerald is playing the coconuts. We were on the playbill with the epic and innovative Celtic Rock Band Tempest, when the group featured one of the hottest bass players in the world Ariane Capp!
Music for Tahoe Arts Project
Gairin included classical guitarist turned Celtic tune specialist Dick Johnson for this performance at Tahoe Arts Project arts and music fair. We also regaled the evening reception at Lake Tahoe. Thanks for this photo goes out to Joan Rowe.
Since Tom started his music career as a roadie for Medicine Bow, or was it Northstar Rockers, he was a natural for setting up our system for the Nevada State Parks Pioneer Day.
At The County Fair
Thanks to Plumas-Sierra County Fair for catching us in the act! Slim and Minnie are a tradition in Plumas-Sierra County.
The first greeting for fair goers is always our good old time playing and singing. We also entertained for the rodeo and Cattlemen's parties.
A card printed up to commemorate the County Fair. Some day, will this card be placed in a time capsule or a museum?
