Before starting Aufrance Associates, Mary Kay made her mark as an aggressive software developer for large companies in Washington and California for energy, government, health care, education and other business.

Mary Kay Aufrance - Background

Before entering the field of software development, she enjoyed success in the field of communications with an emphasis on publishing, and became Director of Communications for an international health care professional association The Optometric Extension Program. Therefore, Mary Kay's background spans the technical to the publishing arts, "which turned out to be perfect combination for doing business on the Internet."

Aufrance Associates has served several commercial and academic web sites for clients whose businesses range from online shopping, tourism, employment search and marketing, real estate marketing / multiple listing service and music sales. Although the Aufrances are pretty much retired, they enjoy keeping a few special clients' websites going strong, plus having the time to pursue their longtime passions: Lake Tahoe, cross country ski racing and music.
